Born in Colchester Essex in the early seventies. He went with his Irish parents to their native country while still a baby.
He was educated in a Christian Brothers School in Ennis County Clare. In Dublin from 1990 to 1998 Jerry was trained to be a professional actor by the late Deirdre O'Connell (widow of Luke Kelly of Dubliners fame) at the Focus Studio after brief spells at the Gaiety School of Acting and Dublin Youth Theatre.
Jerry spent some of his time working and globe trotting before moving back to UK in 2002 to reside. Jerry fondly remembers the times Marlon Brando intercepted him in person in Ireland and the US between 1995 and 2002. No words were exchanged but none were needed for the communication. Not only an actor but an artist at that, Jerry spends most of his leisure painting and has even exhibited his work during the early periods of his career.
Jerry holds a passion and an admiration for the musical genius of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, David Bowie, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. All of whom have had hit songs before and during his existence.
Jerry is currently developing a project chronicling the story of Celt warrior Cuchulain, based on his screenplay. He has managed to accomplish the sequel to his 37 minute Tantrum Expressions titled Burning Umbers in the works. And their's talk regarding him possibly directing a sci-fi piece relating to the human condition.
